*Edited 6/22/07 to correct link. I am a moron. Carry on.*
I have an announcement to make.
Now, before you all get too excited...No, I did not meet someone. No, I did not win the lotto. No, my cat did not learn how to clean my house while I was sleeping.
I have joined forces with Rose (aka Orelinde_03) to create a recipe sharing blog. Okay, I'll admit it...Rose did all the work and simply added me as a contributor. And I hope I don't disappoint her (or my blogging public) with my take on the culinary arts! (I also hope I don't infringe on any copyright laws, since most of the recipes I use are not my own originals.)
So, if you don't mind a little bit of personal commentary, and reporting of personal fiascoes, mixed in with your recipes, come on over to http://www.the-cooking-corner.blogspot.com/ and peruse our efforts! Rose has already 2 tasty looking recipes, and I added the ceviche.
If anyone has any recipes that you'd like to share, or would like to be a contributor to the recipe blog, please contact either me or Rose. Thank you!

Hey there girl! Thank you so much for starting out on a new adventure and 'joining forces with me' for the cooking blog. More importantly, thank you for giving it a shout out over here on your own blog.
Most of the recipes I use are not of my own creation either, so PLEASE do not feel bad. Also post as often as you like, I'm not going to be updating it on a daily basis either.
And if anyone else would like to become a contributor or share a recipe for us to post, please let either Tami or myself know.
Have a great weekend,
Rose
Darn! I was just sure you were going to say that Gracie has learned how to clean while you are sleeping. I was then going to ask if she could train Boris and Natasha.
Oh well. The new venture sounds interesting.
i clicked the link and it didnt work. I may contribute on occasion.

Maybe if you copy and paste? I am so NOT tech savvy.
T'would be awesome if you did contribute. :-)
If you want to send me your addy to send you the invite, send it to my home: TequilaRose603@aol.com
Congrats on the new venture.
I could provide you with six different ways to burn butter, but I don't think that would generate much interest.
Just a comment - on the day my mother was born, my Great Aunt Rhena (my mother's youngest aunt) was making a cake. She burned the butter when she was making the frosting and used it anyway - thus that was the first time she made her wonderful burnt butter frosting (tastes like butterscotch). Good things can come from small mistakes!
Sorry about the bad link everyone. I have fixed it. Looks like I forgot the ever-important "blogspot" part of the web address.
Mom - I did not know that about the frosting. Have I ever had it? Have you deprived me?
Mmmmmm....yummy endeavor!
